Tornado or hurricane potato

Great appetizer or snack for parties.

Serves 2 people.

Ingredients:

Long and medium sized potatoes 2 in number, salt to taste, paprika powder to taste, black pepper powder to taste, chili flakes, Dried oregano to taste, oil to fry.

  1. Clean the poratoes nicely and insert a sweker in every potato. Hold a sharo knife at an angle to potatoes( slanting) and keep cutting the potato but not cutting till the knife reaches skewers. Take time in doing it. Similarly cut the other potato. Then stretch the potatoes to reveal all the groove.
  2. Heat the oil, deep fry on all sides for 2-3 min on high flames and reduce the flame to medium till the potatoes are well cooked.
  3. Remove and keep in kitchen towels. Mix all the powders to ur taste and sprinkle on the potatoes. Serve hot.

  • Add cheese over fried potatoes for additional yumminess.
